ABOUT

Our Mission

Passion for Christ, Compassion for Others

In response to God's amazing love for us, we want to love others. When someone has a passion, it drives their lives. When someone is compassionate, they share with others. That is our mission at Columbine Hills Church.

Our Vision

Worship

Our Sunday morning worship service is a celebration of who God is in each of our lives. Each week, we are challenged to worship with our lives by allowing God to use each of us where we are. You will experience a casual, friendly atmosphere with authentic worship and uplifting Biblical teaching.

Community

We are a church that strives to build community through genuine and transparent relationships. Small groups play an essential role in the care and development of a believer. You will be encouraged to come alongside people who are seeking to grow in their walk with God, knowing that none of us have arrived in our spiritual journey, but are here to spur one another on in growing closer to God.

Call

We are a church that sees God's potential in each person. We commit to walk with you in discovering God's design for your life and provide opportunities for you to contribute to His kingdom. We believe that God's design is for every believer to participate in serving and building the church. We are a church that is compassionate about people in our community that have needs. We actively look for ways to serve others in our community and around the world.

Christ-Centered

The call of God has been the same since the beginning of time.  We are called to surrender our lives and center them around Jesus Christ.  At CHC, we strongly urge people to participate in Worship, Community, and Call.  While these three activities are Biblical and commendable, they all should be viewed and carried out through the perspective of Christ-centeredness.  The mission of our church is to lead people into a growing relationship with Christ.  We strongly encourage, teach, and promote living the Christ-centered life as part of that growing relationship.

Our Core Values

We Believe

...in one God: the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit

…that the Bible was given by full inspiration without error, revealing all truth necessary for faith, salvation, and Christian living.

…that man is born with a sinful nature and is inclined to live a sinful life.

…that those who do not receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Christ are eternally lost.

…that salvation is available to everyone; and that anyone who places their trust in Jesus Christ will be saved.

…that after salvation believers should give their lives to God for His complete use and purpose.

…that Jesus will return one day; those who have died in Christ will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
